Your Event Solution produced an adult Willy Wonka-theme corporate event for an association’s annual meeting on April 1 at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort outside of Atlanta. Showcasing a unique take on a doughnut wall, the event offered doughnuts placed on giant letters that spelled out “sweet.”

Univision Upfront
Univision’s upfront took place May 16 at the Lyric Theatre in New York. Greeters outfitted in the event’s green-and-blue color palette were on hand at the check-in kiosks.

Hearst Digital Media NewFront
Hearst’s NewFront for its digital brands took place May 3 at Skylight Modern in New York. Designed by BMF Media, the presentation had a food area with bright and playful wall and floor coverings, along with screens promoting related content. The entrance walls were designed to resemble classic ice cream sandwiches and candy button strips.

EeeeeatsCon
EeeeeatsCon, the Infatuation’s inaugural food and music festival, took place May 20 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The event, which brought together notable food vendors from New York and Los Angeles, featured a produce-inspired wall that served as a backdrop for food photos.

Billion Oyster Party
Billion Oyster Project, a restoration and education project focused on restoring a sustainable oyster population to New York’s harbor, hosted its fourth annual Bill Oyster Party fund-raiser on May 18 at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn. Produced by Phear Creative, the event featured hanging lobster traps as decor.

The ninth annual Embassy Chefs Challenge took place May 24 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington. Produced by Events DC, the event featured cultural dance and music performances from various embassies throughout the night.

The Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami celebrated its grand opening on May 6. Fiction Events created decor pieces that evoked water using bubble-like orbs. One of the museum’s centerpieces is its aquarium.
